So my boyfriend and I have been together for about 2 years and everything's been good so far, we would have ups and downs like every other normal couple would have. We're still in high school by the way. But he met this girl when we were freshmen (we're sophomores now) and we'll call her A. A is a very sweet girl and we've only talked to eachother a few times over Instagram but that's it. But my boyfriend and A have been texting everyday ever since they met and he does it when we're on call or whenever we're hanging out too. Of course, I love and trust my boyfriend and I know A isn't a threat but I can't help but feel so jealous about them texting eachother almost everyday. We've recently just got back together after a short break so of course, I'd be insecure about it because I don't want to lose him completely. I've also told him about me being insecure about it but he tells me that he'll stop texting her but he still does and he's usually the one that starts the conversations. I know it's not a big deal but I just wanted to get this off of my chest.

What you mentioned sounds like your boy & A are becoming best friends in a way. I personally think it was disrepectful that he pushed off your insecurity and didn't take it seriously. I hope it doesn't go downhill, but please know you are worthy no matter what of love! <3

Lmao nAh, we ended up breaking up because he "lost interest in me" and he told me that he had liked A during our time together. I'm not mad at A because she obviously didn't mean to make him fall for her, I'm just mad at him for liking her when we dated and constantly texting her even though I've voiced my insecurity

It's going to be hard for me to get over him as we've been together for a long time and he was my "first love" so I'm emotionally attached to him but I do think that I'll be okay but he hates me now so that hurts me even more.
