Hmmm. I don't understand the way a person who is really good in academics think. It is like he's finding a way to make my classmate feel ashamed (Or I dunno), but if I read our group chat, I can feel it is like a real fight.

My classmate said, "Hey ___, I'm not smarter than you but there are things that i'm really good than you" He was kinda pissed off when our nerd classmate said something mean to him.

He replied, "Wow, there are things that you're really good at. But, what happened to our project? Look, It was so mess and untidy. It is not what it looks like"

I think he couldn't take it anymore and said, "___, that is not one of the basis. We all make mistakes. How about you? When you make a single mistake, you can't accept it cause you think you're better than everyone"

and thennn, I stopped reading our group chat. I privately
chatted that nerd, and he just said, it is just a hobby!! Gosh, you call it a hobby? I cannot call it as a joke, it is too real like it is based on our real life situations.

It was totally true! We are not absolute like we know everything. You can't just aim for high if you can't do it. If you fail, you can just accept it and do it again. hmmm, I kinda hate my nerd classmate's personality cause he's so competitive. He is so obsess over grades like every time I talk to him, he always has a math or science joke in his hands. like what?? I'm also smart but not as smart as he is. We cannot relate it that is why I just arched my brows and smile fakely.

I don't understand why my nerd classmate is so competitive over grades. Well, grades are just numbers! If i'm going to be in his place, his life is kinda boring tbh.

Live your life, and do your studies and hobbies like you want.
And don't feel bad. You'll still be able to live a great life without being #1. And the most fulfilling is still to have hobbies, love, friends,…

If you want to do him a favor, tho, remember or Icarus.
The nerd is probably in a more insecure situation than you.

One day, he could aim high and face a greater competition, or sharks who will tear him up to eliminate proficient classmates. That's what happened to me this year, and is said to be common in companies.

What you can do is present him famous brilliant people to prepare him to understand he's not unrivaled.
And try to get him some friends, so that he will have a safety net.
