I Need Help ;-; (7)

So...first of all let me clarify and say that I am a girl and get that out of the way. Also, I'm now a junior in highschool too.

I fell in love with my best friend (also a girl) let's call her Apple. So I've known her for a good two and a half years now and about half a year ago or so I realized two things, that I was not straight and that I had a fat crush on Apple. Of course, I just continued acting the way I used to act around her and naturally as time passed we got closer but not really THAT close.

I'm moving to a new school this Junior year and we won't be able to see eachother much and I was wondering if I should confess my feelings before the school year starts. If I do have have the advantage of not having to see her when I get rejected but If I just don't confess at all I'll just have to keep harboring this stupid love until it somehow dies out over time, if it does at all.

I'm really confused about what I should do and I thought maybe I could get advice from here?

Once i was in the same situation and I never told my best friend my real feelings. I still regret it and wonder what happen if I had the courage to tell her.

either way, you'll regret what you've done if her feelings aren't mutual.
if you confess and got rejected, she might ignore you and friendship's done or if she's not that knd of person then she wont ignore you but things wont be like before.
if you dont confess,you'll always contemplate on what might have happened if you confessed and stuffs like that. you'll be stuck on "what ifs" even if your feelings would die out.

those are just my theories but my advice is that

choose what is more worth it to do for you.
which of those choices you think would give you less regret or pain?
which of those choices would you be happy?

cause at the end of the day, you just gotta accept the consequences of the choices that you chose and move on.

although, i know that its not that simple

Tell her. You have nothing to lose , really.

Thanks for these replies you guys! It means a lot to me ^^. But in the end, I'm really just a coward. I don't want to feel the pain of being rejected and I don't want to lose this friendship either. I feel that the gain is weighed out by the cons. I'm really scared and I'm just so conflicted ;-;
