I was just wondering if there’s any dollars that know sign language here and/or are mute or deaf?

Hello! I'm not fully mute, but I have been diagnosed with selective mutism (although I've made tons of progress that you may think I'm just shy!). I did attempt to learn sign language as a way to communicate back when I could hardly speak, but I just couldn't retain what I learned. Plus, nobody around me knew sign language either. My main method of communication was... through Google Docs...
I think it's great to learn! I'd love to try learning it again someday when I have more free time. Handspeak is a great resource for ASL, if you're interested in learning.

I'm not mute or deaf but I'm not confident talkng to people so I learned sign language as another method of communication. (Though no one around me knows the language so now it's just a hobby I have.)
I'm still learning (can only hold simple coversations) but if I know how to sign it then I'll sign while I speak. I've been learning from a youtuber by the name of Bill Vicars (link below)
