Are you referring to someone specific? Because if so then you could always be the one who does report them missing. Though the way you phrased it makes it sound very sketchy and possibly unsafe to report it. I don't know if you're looking for advice but you should give more details if you are.

well the thing is they go missing and no one remembers them I've not necessarily seen but remembered 5 people going missing 2 girls Ashley and Bridget or something but Ashley was the first person i had met in kindergarten she was actually in a picture in the school Bridget is the 2nd girl she was actually obsessed with to the point she broke Wyatt's foot (the first dude to go missing) another was Jordan he was Ashley's friend and with him was Braden i'm still trying to find out their last names though i had known them for at least a year before they disappeared

How strongly do you trust your memories of them?
How long ago and at what age did they go missing?
When you say that no one remembers those 5 kids, do you mean that people will deny they existed when you bring them up, or just that no one talks about them anymore? If people don't talk about those kids, it's probably out of respect for their families (they don't want to pry open old wounds), or because they know something / have suspicions about it but don't want to say anything because it's such a scary subject. The former case is very likely for most people in general, the latter case sounds more like something out of a crime documentary about a small town tbh.
But basically I'm trying to gauge how safe it is for you to become actively involved in looking for them.
If you want to find out their last names, Idk when they disappeared but you can try getting your hands on old yearbooks. (At the very least Ashley went to school with you, right?) That's as far as I'd recommend going with the research though, at least for now. If this is true then the whole thing sounds VERY sketchy. I'm guessing you're pretty young too. Might not be a good idea. This might be something over all of our heads.

Well it is a fairly small town i just want to understand but the problem is i trust my memory for what it gives me (for what i remember)if that make sense however i was 9 years old or older and i can't figure out anything about it my long term friends probably have a yearbook and by no one remembers them i mean like they just disappeared and no one even knows them anymore what even weirder is Ashley lives near me (or did) the house is abandoned and all ways has a candle in the attic of the house lit but no ones their it's really creepy and just for clearance it was 2011 when they were gone i don't know what month or day they disappeared and yes Ashley went to school with me

Well today it was just a light in the attic when I drove by today but i had remembered a candle their for years but yes it seems really paranormal but this stuff happens
