You know, you can't ever trust anyone 100%. Maybe your family. But that's it honestly. 100% trusting relationships are ideals that, sooner or later, crumble to the ground. So you shouldn't look forward to meeting people who you can trust 100%.
Don't get me wrong. You can still have great, healthy, and open relationships without this trust. You just have to get into the habit of being on your guard—not in a bad way, just enough to be cautious enough to know when to stop talking or when to slightly distance yourself.
This is because you never know when anyone is going to change. It's a scary thing. But people can change almost overnight, or even worse, bit by bit so that you don't notice until it's too late.
So don't make yourself regret giving your trust to the wrong person.
