So nearly a month ago my cat got attacked and it's been vet visit after vet visit which is just getting so exhausting... my life is literally eat, sleep, work and visit the vet. The vet costs are no worry to me, I just want this to be over already so I dont need to worry about leaving for work and him possibly hurting himself more as I cant leave him in the crate because he gets too stressed which causes more problems.
Not really asking for help just wanted to say this as my family and friends think it's stupid enough to spend so much money and time on a cat I got given for free

They are the stupids by my opinion, a pet is a friend, do we pay to have friends? No. So, it is right to just leave them when they are in need? It's like a baby, if it is sick you try your better to help him. Babies are free too...

Fuck them! You are taking care of your pet. Whoever thinks that what you are doing is "stupid" should zip. What you are doing is awesome and your cat will surely be grateful for your concern. Keep the hard work. Hope your cat gets well soon.

Seriously wtf, This is not stupid at all. Maybe they just dont consider animals as important, but my dogs to me are on the same level of family and I feel like thats how you view your cat as well. If investment of money isn't an issue maybe try and find a pet sitter that understands the situation with your cat and is willing to help your cat while you are away. I think that would really ease the stress
