So, I know this is sort of stupid, but I need some help. Recently, I think I made my girlfriend feel bad by venting out some of my insecurities about our relationship to her. She seemed fine until a bit later today, when she said that she was still feeling bad about what I had said. I realize now that I wasn't really thinking when I said what I did, but I don't really know what to say to her. She has some issues with self-esteem, and she has her bad days, but this is the first time that I've ever felt responsible for her feeling bad.

So...Could I have some help? Any advice would be appreciated.

>>2 I agree with the subject of talking it out. It's fairly obvious that anyone in a relationship hears that piece of advice. But take it to heart and be yourself. Knowing she has self-esteem issues is the first step in helping your relationship. I can't say much on the situation because of how little I know, but I hope you work it out. Have a good day at it.

A couple days after I made this thread, I took her on a date and we talked about what was bothering us. I think that helped, and I feel like we've gotten closer because of this exchange.

Anyways, I'd like to thank you for the advice. Have a nice day/evening!
