I haven't been on this site in forever. I honestly forgot it was even a thing. The last time I used this site was way back in the beginnings of 2010, and I used it for a good 2 years before I lost interest. I'll still go on here every now and then, but I've been so busy that it's been hard for me to even chat or make friends so I've mostly just been lurking around.
I want to get back into this, I really did love this site and I made a few good friends back in the day, but for the past few years I've found it hard to talk to others online. It feels strange and awkward, I've had the same 3 online friends for 4 years now and I don't really know how to interact with anyone but them.
Usually when I go into chatrooms I kind of feel awkward because it feels like I'm intruding and there's not much that I can talk about with other people. I don't want to just go and suddenly change the conversation topic, either, so sometimes I just lurk a bit then give up and leave. I don't really know what to do, and I don't always have the time to log in everyday so it's hard for me to keep up with a lot of things when I try to make some online friends, too.
Idk what to do, this site holds a lot of fond memories for me and it's one of the very first things that I ever used on the internet, so I can't just give it up, but I don't know what to do it nowadays.

Everyone feels a bit awkward, just do you man. Everything will work out. No need to over complicate with obligations. Just chill and enjoy yourself, the rest comes naturally lolo.

Aw man, I can completely relate to you on the nostalgia factor, I guess I kinda took on and kept the easiness I had with talking to people online?

Either way, I check back from time to time due to nostalgia and also just trynna find old friends that I lost contact with.

I used to use Darasu.net but now there's darasu.xyz which looks exactly the same, so it's dope to just chat sometimes fpr nostalgic purposes
