But that's not what I wanted to say, was it? It never was. You helped more than you will ever fully comprehend. More than I was ever able to express. I cannot imagine the life I would've had without your kindness to pull me from the dark path I was headed down. That smile that invited me and the myriad of problems I carried with me. The words you gave that eased my stormy mind. The laugh that drowned out the negativity surrounding me.

Wherever you are, wherever you went after you left, I hope you have everything you ever wanted and more. True happiness.
But no matter who I write to, how I write it, I'll never truly have closure, will I?
