My girlfriend and I have been dating for almost 2 years now. I love her very much but I don't think I can be in a relationship right now. I know this will break her heart because she's done so much for me and loves me enough to stay when I'm not even treating her right. I know she has a lot of shit to deal with on her own and I want to be there for her but I feel like I can't. I know I'm a major ass for for taking advantage of her(emotionally) but I want her to know that I'm try to get better for her.

Do you think there's a best way to handle this? I feel like we need to break up for a while so I can get my shit together but I don't want her to feel like I'm abandoning her.

Just do what your heart wants, if you can't love her enough just like she loves you, then all it's unworthy. It's the best for the two... I lived that and Ikr it's hard but it'll really confort your heart by the time ... good luck anyway
