Struggling to get healthy again. (3)

I've been struggling to not eat at night. I can feel it affecting my health and how I sleep. Even how I feel in the morning and the weight gain. I broke the bad habit once before and I was really healthy at one point and I felt really great. Now that I've stopped, I really want to get back to that but it's so difficult and it's frustrating. I went from not letting food rule my life, to addicted to food again. I just want to get back to how I was. I had a great routine and I replaced eating late with a cup of tea instead. Now it's like I can't sleep without stuffing my face. I feel so bad for my body.

I don't know what kind of tea you were drinking before, but I would try green tea a few hours before bed. Green tea naturally suppresses appetite. Green tea is also a diuretic, which makes your body release water more easily, so I would counteract that by upping your water intake a bit as well.

Added benefit, it also boosts your metabolism which can help keep the weight gain in check.

I hope this helps.

Thank you. I was drinking honey lavender because it's decaffeinated so it doesn't keep me up at night. I will try decaf green tea for sure. I just need to kick the habit and replace food with tea for a little over a week and I can make it a habit again. I really hope I can do it.
