Sending letters (4)

I've always liked the idea of sending letters back and forth without knowing the person. It can be incredibly dangerous as addresses are shared but for some reason I still feel like it's something I'd do if I ever could. What do you guys think? Am I just being stupid or is this relatable?

I feel the same way. Letters have a really nice feeling to them. You have to write with your own handwriting, you have to read the other person's handwriting. You can't correct mistakes on paper that easily, the smell of paper is very nice and getting a letter feels very special. Waiting for a letter makes you really happy when the letter arrives.

People should do it. More often. I will totally do it when I can! One day I will.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I totally agree with you on how personal letters can be. Even if it's just about something trivial.

Honestly I have already started to feel the same with Emails. I regularly check my Email, hoping for new Emails, because they feel kind of cool too. You don't text each other instantly, have to wait days for a response and write a lot more into a mail. It's not anywhere as romantic or exciting as a real letter, but it has a different feel to it too.
