I know this is sorta minor, though still personal and I don't know where else to talk so I remembered this site was still up and functional sooo hey. Haha.. but anyway, I have a crush on one of my close friends, we've talked very often and basically enjoy a lot of the same stuff and I dunno despite us being long distance I've just gotten very interested in them and I want to make my feelings known, it's difficult though because I don't want to mess anything up and even though they do like me a lot too (not sure if in That Way or not which is the big thing) I guess there's really no way to tell whether they're interested or not? Idk. Whether to just get this out there and express it to them or let it be is sorta beyond me haha. Thanks for reading. Feelings suck.

You miss every shot you don’t take, that person might not have the same feelings as you but, if you don’t take that shot how will you know.

The worst that can happen is that, the person in question doesn’t like you back. They wont change the relationship between you. Ask the person if they like you back. You will only regret not asking them out.

I'll tell you from experience, letting your feelings be known will not break a friendship at all, especially if you are not putting them in a position where they feel like your trying to force a relationship.

What I did was just bring it up as a 'for your information' kind of thing. Then its up to the other person to decide what they want to do with that information. If it goes nowhere, at least you can say that you made an attempt, if it sparks further conversation, then who knows, you may end up as a couple. Just prepare yourself for a rejection, that way anything other than a rejection is a pleasant surprise. Good luck to you in whatever path you choose. I hope it works well for you.

I’d say something like, “you know, I kinda like you” and see how they react. If the react positively then ask them if they will be your boyfriend/girlfriend.
