I've been learning this about myself as well. I'm also learning to be ok with it.

Is it weird, or is it simply the corruption of society indoctrinating you to believe that there can only be one objective form of normalism? In reality, you are naught but a puppet being manipulated by your parents, your friends, the government, your respective national leader and the world itself. So I ask you who is the weird one; us or you?

Sylka - Just because you trolled Kaiyo in a very ignorant way. Your first statement holds some semblance of truth: Society has its own standards for what is "normal". Your second statement is contradictory to the spirit of the OP. If someone realizes that they are weird (as in not normal) then in reality they are not puppets and not conforming. And your last statement is just fodder. "So I ask you who is the weird one: us or you?" You are either implying that you are part of the corrupt, normal society and the other is not, or vice versa. But you really aren't saying anything at all.

Well, we get the idea

I am well aware of what you are trying to say, but I think this is just what the world is. What life is. I think it's sad that a lot of people grow up in an environment which makes them become people who do not stick out, or just simply prevent them from living out their full potentials.
But it is benefiting for those who do grow up in the right environment and get to live up to their full potential, because this way they don't have maximal competition which makes it easier for them to achieve what they want to.
There are different ways to view this, don't you think?

Homofem:

You are basically saying: Some people are forced into conformity by their surroundings. Some people are not, because of different surroundings.

Yes, that is the way the world works. We get the idea.

The real beauty of "weird" is the flower that grows through the cracks in the concrete of an assimilation driven society.

>>7 nice.
I would totally get rid of that flower, it's not supposed to grow there. :^)
Even if no one get's rid of it, it will surely be overrun by the passerby.
Just saying.

Perhaps most of the time, but certainly not always. I think anyone could be that "flower" and should be encouraged to do so. The less "concrete" there is, the more people can live up to their potential. If you want people to stick out, why be the thing that holds them back?

People make fun of the way I sit and walk but for the most part I think I'm pretty normal ^7^

>>10 just br cateful to not hurt your body with the way you walk and sit. Not sitting up straight can damage your spine and walking unproperly can cause pain and damage in your lower body and legs.
