One of the hard things I had to learn about life was how to move forward. For the longest time I felt like I was stuck in a rut, just living everyday to survive and not considering much else.
The only person who can help you is you.
You mentioned that when you make resolutions they typically lead to regressing back to before. My advice for that is to not set big, life-changing goals. Start small with simple things like folding laundry on time or cleaning.
If you want your life to get better you have to make those decisions.
It's difficult to get going but after a while of being inactive you'll hit a point where you shock yourself into action.
You have the community here to support you and encourage you. It's rough but if you truly don't like how your life is and you want change then take a small step and inch yourself to what you want.
As for a job, depending on your financial need, if you've little to no work experience I suggest a grocery store or convenience store. They're about as simple as it gets and it's a good route to ease yourself into working and making money.
If you need anymore help feel free to reply or post a thread.
