Toxic Friend (5)

Um, I don't know how to really put this... I guess I'll just tell it to you straight. So, I have this one person I used to hand out with. They would cut and then hurt me but play the innocent. Later on, I ended our connection and felt good about myself. I find myself drawn back to her. She texted me and said that people were sexting her. She does this a lot and it generally turns out to be nothing. After calling her I find myself cutting again. It hurts but my wrists hurt even more if I don't. My head hurts and I don't know what I'm even doing anymore. What should I do?

Damn. -Er- Just like you said, she is toxic. It's natural to avoid her at all cost. About the cutting and stuff. I'm not sure how to put it. It's psychological. You need professional help. I'm sorry, I couldn't formulate a detailed advice. Take care.

I've had friends like that, people that you know you shouldn't hang out with, but you just feel wrong without them. I know it's hard, but I removed all connection with my friend. I blocked them on social media, and deleted/blocked their number as well as any pictures of us together. It might be extreme, but it helped. I couldn't look back at the good times, and even if I still had the urge to talk to them, I couldn't remember their number anyway. As far as cutting, I don't know what to say. My best advice would be talking to a professional.

I hope things work out.

She is a narcissist, please avoid her because she will do nothing but beat you black and blue with her mentality until you cut her off and think for yourself, without her influences. But, she's always going to want you back, just for the reason that she lost you in the first place. Narcissists are nothing if not persuasive, but you're going to have to learn how to ignore her, and reject her pleas, they're a game just for her to stick her hooks in you again. Do not let her.

Please, stay away from this person.
