I've always been passing my examinations with little effort. But as for this year and foward, I think I got to ace my examinations.
How can a slacker like me suddenly ace the examinations? I can't just study hard, can I? I'm so not used to all these.

Try using a bunch of different methods to maximize studying ability e.g. Recording the information and listening to it when your outside or exercising, sign up to sites like khanacadmeny that help structuralise your learning and yeah, study I guess lol

Get into the habit of regularly studying. I know its hard, as I'm still trying to do that. But you've said already that it doesn't take much for you to pass your exams, so it shouldn't be too hard for you so long as you get into the habit of studying regularly.
Though don't decide to study long hours everyday all of a sudden. Because that won't work. I've learned that its better to start small. "Walk before you can run" as the saying goes.
Try 20 minutes a day. And habit is gained after at least 3 weeks of doing the thing. So after 3 weeks, then try to increase you're study time if you think its necessary.
