A possible health issue (3)

I’m a 21 year old Caucasian male who is 5’8” and around 190 pounds. I just got a new job and I am feeling pain in my the area where my right thigh connects to the crotch. It is sudden and feels a little gaseous, but it seems to come around at 7 or 8 pm.

I’m wondering if it is an inguinal hernia. I saw three different doctors about it, and the first one said they detected a possible inguinal hernia, and the two after her couldn’t find anything, and I had to go through it to get the job. This is the second day I felt the pain, and it just came out of the blue yesterday.

I wouldn’t say I’m the healthiest, but I wouldn’t say I’m unhealthy, either, and a I have been trying to improve my health by exercising and watching what I eat.

I also just started training at my new job, so I’m afraid it might interfere with work.
Do you have any ideas of what it could be?

I'm sorry but I have no idea. Its either you continue to find out more by going to more doctors or research on your own. But when it comes to treating it, please consult a doctor and not do anything at your own risk. Good luck for your work too.

You didn't really say, were these sports medicine doctors? Additionally, if you really are uncertain, you could request for a hernia surgeon to take a quick look.
Hernias only get worse over time, and can only be fixed with surgery. If you notice this steadily getting worse, get an abdominal xrays.
additional stuff from google and modest nursing knowledge-
-emergency situations: if the hernia traps a loop of intestine. If you have difficulty with bowel movements, have blood in your stool, or if the hernia's bulge no longer disappears when you lie down, this may be the case.
-avoid sharp, sudden movements, and lifting
-experiencing stomach cramps makes it more likely that you have a hernia

Other possible cases:
-Hydrocele/water retention in the testicle; this has a chance of spreading to the inguinal area
-inflammation of inguinal lymph nodes (lymphedenitis): in this case, the swelling will be harder and may leak pus. Since the extremities of the body tends to have the most lymph nodes, this is a possibility. Think if you have had a recent illness.
