Greetings. Do anyone of you have experiences in a self-hurt? I have this strange thoughts of hurting myself by a needle recently. It´s not like I want to die, but I think about this stuff always, when something sad happens to me... What do I do?

I won't say don't do it because you can't stop most selfhurting people from hurting/cutting themselves. You can try to supress this but the fact that you want to do it when you feel sad tells that you need help. Talk to someone about your problems and feelings.
If thqt makes you feel better it's important you do that.

instead of hurting yourself, you should talk to someone, like Aram said. Another thing, that I normally do is draw, I draw out my feelings on a piece of paper. You can also do some type of sport, or even just going on a walk around the block, maybe even do some reading. Anything to take your mind off it.

If you have gotten to the point where you feel like you're going to hurt yourself; try a safer alternative. My psychologist recommended the elastic band, and though it might not feel the same as sharp object, it still helps get the stress/urge out.

Hope this helped, stay safe!

I think it is a sign for a mental problem. It is better to visit a doctor or to talk to somebody like >>2 said.
