There is this girl I like. She and her mother have split due to child services getting involved. We used to hang out a lot and now it's as if she doesn't know me anymore. Our relationship now is bland and I don't get enough chances to text her. She is either busy or just doesn't reply.

I tried to speak with her today, went somewhat well, however it was bland. She knows I like her, however I am not sure if the feelings are mutual or what not. She types in mostly caps and in small sentences, or words by themselves. I know this is because of her and her mothers situation, but she shouldn't be so inactive, especially I am the one to text her. I hade plenty of friends help me, however, it's just useless.
Any advice?

I suppose she is just unmotivated in general because of her situation? Just try your best and don't give up. Take your time and don't rush it. But if you noticed that she specifically be bland towards you, try to take a step back and try a different approach. To put it simply, get her to like you. Anyways, be appreciative of your friend's help and I hope you can get this sorted out.

She probably went through a lot. It’s understandable that someone would change after something like that happens. When I had family problems I felt like I couldn’t talk about so I kept my friends at a distance. She might need someone to talk to and if she does be there for her and listen. She would probably appreciate that. If she doesn’t want to talk about it she might just want a distraction. You could try and take her somewhere or do something that she enjoys. If she isn’t ready to talk about it just let her know that you are there and will listen it she wants. Also be supportive and make sure she knows that she has people that care about her.
