So there's this guy - tall, good at sports (like me), pretty smart (like me), pretty dedicated (like me), has this sadistic sense of humor (like me), likes anime (like me), likes ramen (like me), and loves chocolate (like me). Obviously, we have a lot in common, which is why we almost instantly felt some sort of connection from the moment we met. I met him last year during my first year of school there, and we got a lot closer ever since. I had a pretty big crush on him last year, but it kinda faded. Now it's back again, except it's different now. Now that I know him a lot better, he holds a lot more, lets say, weight in my heart. He calls me close to 5 times a week to "gossip" with me xDDD so i'm pretty sure he likes me too, but I have my doubts because, well, I'm just that type of person ;; As for me, whenever I see him, I always catch myself looking at him. I always try to look away because I focus a lot on my studies and I think that he's just a distraction, but I can't, really. Whenever he smiles (it's rare) I feel my stomach doing this happy flip, although, of course, I don't show it. After a FRICKIN LONG BATTLE WITH MA STUBBORN INNER SELF, i finally came to the conclusion that i liked him -_- But I don't know where to go from here. Honestly, it would be so awesome to be his girlfriend, but I'm kinda scared. What if he doesn't like me? What if he just thinks of me as a super close friend who he just happens to call a lot and is a girl and has the same tastes as him and is kinda flirty to and has deep conversations about life with? What if dating him is gonna make me a worse student (cuz i got ma pride as a model student xD)? UGH SO SIMPLY PUT, SHOULD I ASK HIM OUT OR NOT???? OR SHOULD I WAIT UNTIL HE DOES IT OR UGH

uhh no xDD i'm a model STUDENT, meaning that i have good study habits. and to add on a few more facts, he almost always calls me first but sometimes he hangs up abruptly after talking for like 30 or 40 minutes with a "well i gotta go now bye". Also, a lot of my friends tell me that we should "marry already"

Yea, don't marry or son cider it in high school. It never ends well, and if tis meant to be he'll come back. I say try to bond with him a bit more. If he likes you he would want to keep talking to you, and if he has to go he would say a reason.
