I have a friend. She's hardworking, charismatic, radiant, ect., ect.
And after a certain trauma I pushed her and my family away and we're still good friends but it's not the same. She understood and gave me space but
I can't help but feel I hurt her. And I want to make things right but I don't know how. And every time she sends me encouragement or sweet things it gets worse because she's so good and I distanced myself and couldn't trust her and she deserves the world rather than a shitty friend like me

hey it might not help but I wanna say this: if you're feeling that, that just means you wanna make things right cause it sounds like you're having regrets. Yes it might be hard but at least you'll know that you've tried. Sorry that it might not be all helpful though.

Btw, don't think of yourself as some shitty being, she'll probably be sad too if she knows that you're looking at yourself like that.
