There was this one morning sometime during my summer vacation. The rest of the day was a blur, but I can remember the moments I spent with my family during the earlier part of that day.

A few minutes before I got up my mom went to me and gave me a hug. She said she felt like its been quite a time since the last time she hugged me. When my siblings got up we started making breakfast. We had some fried rice. We also made some omelet but we forgot to add the hotdogs to the eggs before we put it in a pan. My mom didn't get mad at me. In fact her voice sounded very gentle while she helped me. My younger brother also helped in making breakfast. After finishing preparing our meals, we all ate in peace

It was a nice morning. I felt like I didn't have to worry about anything else. It was just me, my family, our breakfast , and our home. It was not the greatest breakfast, but the feeling it brought upon me sure did feel like the best. It felt like things are and will be alright.

Feel free to share any similar experiences :)

>>1 Thats nice to hear. Sometimes little things like this really makes us feel great. I'm not sure if I had any elaborated/interesting experiences, but I had those too. I guess we should appreciate moments like that even though its not much of a significance.
