I may sound like a troll but it's true, I love humans, I really do, they are all so interesting and when I found out about Izaya I was just so happy because finally there was someone who felt the same, and it sounds weird I know but humans are so interesting in so many ways, the way they react to certain things in different ways and especially to see them fall into despair over things just makes me so happy, it's unbelievably entertaining to watch them, every human is unique in their own way and therefore I love them! Eaxh and every one of them! Without my dear humans life would be unbelievably boring!

Yeah I just copy pasted this... and THIS IS NOT ROLEPLAY!!! I really do feel like this and it's actually hurting me that people don't want to accept the fact there are people that really feel like this....I didn't choose to be the way I am and I certainly don't enjoy people not believing me either... I'm used to it tho... so.... maybe anyone who actually wants to talk about it? Like....I just want to know if there are other who think like this.. or at least people who don't just think it's a joke? It's really hard to discuss this here cause well... Izaya.... but other people seem pretty ok to accept the fact that I love humans in this kind of way but as soon as they know Durarara they think I'm a troll or roleplaying.. well I'M NOT!!!....

If you want people to believe you, it might be a good idea to not word your statement of adoration exactly how Izaya does in the show.

But what's the problem with that? Since when did honesty become a bad things? It's sad that we live in a world were one isn't even allowed to tell how he's feeling...

Let's say I decide to admit and then want to seriously discuss that I spend my evenings going around attacking people with a knife, I wouldn't start off the thread by essentially quoting Haruna Niekawa. On a BBS that's based off a concept from Durarara!!, it would just sound like role play.

Well if it's that simple and I know you got what I actually want to say, why don't you just give a serious answer instead of arguing with me about how I express myself? I mean sure I could explain it in detail but if I post on a page where all people know 1 person that's exactly the same why do I need to go into detail when there's a easier way to explain everyone how I'm feeling without writing 5k words? And even if I did people would still think the same, so there's 2 options:1.use his name or 2.write 5k words that tell exactly the same

people will come up with comments like yours anyway so what's the big deal? Just because I chose the shorter way to explain it? As I said it's not my fault that I think like that and I thought like that for as long as I can even remember thinking anything...

So yeah I know you clearly get what I want to say, please give a serious answer or don't answer at all... I mean is it really that hard to believe that A REAL PERSON thinks the same way as A FICTIONAL PERSON?

That's a pretty strange statement to make when talking about how much you like/love humans but I don't think you are wrong for having such feelings. You should invest your likes in human behavior into psychology or something else that allows you to enjoy your hobbies without being judged. You aren't alone in your thoughts. There are thousands maybe even millions of people out there who also thing that the human mind, behavior and body is amazing and deserves to be study.

oh demnn ~v~ the moment i read the title of this post, i had a feeling this wud be something good. so yea :3 i love humans too, observing/interacting with em is kinda like drawing up a never-ending flowchart. Like, if action A is done then person A would react in this way and person B would react this way probably because (something about their past experiences/brain processes). And since everyone is so complex and since we'l all come across thousands and thousands of pepl in our lifetime, material for the flowchart will never run out ~v~

huh maybe thats what psychologists aimed to do, study humans/how they think and add their discoveries and theories to a universal flowchart so that psychologists today would be able to carry on from where they left off/ be one step closer to understanding pepl~

Finally, I found my people! I also love humans... They`re fascinating in the way each and every one reacts differently to the exact same thing.

I suppose we do sound like roleplayers… But expressing our feelings here is just the most logical thing to do! Everyone here knows what Izaya`s like, therefore there`s so much more chance of someone that relates to Izaya, like me, being on this Dollars website.

Besides, in reality, what`s the difference between us observing humans in their everyday life as their lives intertwine with ours, and you watching people`s lives unfold on reality TV? You make comments, observations and watch with interest, just like us. We`re just less judgemental and appreciate every last human being, just like they are.

ok half the ppl here (including meh likes humans), i have no idea why, perhaps ppl like us is attrated to animes like drrr or something.

I am usually calm, one of the quietest person in my class, and I don't really react to stuff that much, I am kinda like Izaya, giving ppl a push, and see what happens, what ever mass I make, I always cleans it up somehow.

I fee like most people that watch Drrr love humans, I do too their just so interesting and lovely to observe

Funny enough, the reason I watched Durarara in the first place was because of me being similar to Izaya. Someone I know recommended it to me on the basis that I remind him of a character in it.

Anyhow, I digress. I understand what you feel, though it is not quite the same as me, it is similar enough.

The main difference between myself and Izaya (and others here I would assume) is that rather it being the irrational love for humans shown by Izaya, I'm more of a curiosity type.
By that, I mean that I enjoy observing humans and/or manipulating them to see what happens, but it is not out of love but just curiosity.

As such, we are similar, but not quite the same.

To like humans is a natural thing. Humans are social creatures though I do admit that they also like to destroy each other. Both phenomena are interesting and fun to observe if you have the chance to. So humans and any living creatures are interesting indeed and so is their evolution.
