I have found my biological grandparent that lost touch with my parent about 50 years ago. I've recently found the, but I know I can't say hello I'm your grandchild from your child who you never saw. The split of my grandparents is complicated, but not harsh. My parent doesn't want to meet them, but say it's a;right if I do. What should I do? I can't have a normal relationship with them, but I can't resent them.

whilst i don't actually know the circumstances, all i can really say is put yourself in their shoes and see if they'd like to get to know you. I lost my grandparents before i was born, thus lost the chance to know them so... take that chance and do what i couldn't cuz afterall we're only mortal

Hmm. Pretty complicated. If you are going to meet them anyways, just be honest and tell your grands your side of the story. Since your parents doesnt want to see them, just keep it to yourself. Well, just meet them to your own comfortability and have conversations.

Ask them if they want to meet you and if they want, then meat them. You don't have to meet them twice if you don't like each other, but try it one time for reasons like >>2 told you.
