Okay so this is bullshit. After a year and a few months of constantly thinking about a person and only just reaching out to the Dollars, the very day afterwards I meet the dude on LINE.
I actually knew him for a few months, but we didn't talk as much as I had hoped. I reached out to the guy, as a friend and we're still friends, that I wanted to get to know him more and not be afraid of messing up in Japanese.
Anyway, I'm not gonna have insane expectations. I'm an emotional mess right now. I'm gonna take him for who he is, ignore all of what I'd hope to believe in until now and just be friends.
I have this sinking feeling in my stomach that this isn't gonna work out, but I'll try my best anyway. So far, I've managed to hold the friendship even with the language barrier.

You just need more time. For the time being, dont break the friendship. Language barriers can be broken with effort, so be patience and practise.
Dont stress it out too much and calm down.
And yea, try your best and dont feel as thought it wont work out or anything.
