I'm making a documentary with a friend on the paris agreement, but since it isn't a war documentary or anything super tension-y and stuff, we don't really know which elements of a documentary we should use. Suggestions?

Ooooh, the Paris Agreement-- Great topic!
It really depends on the feel of what you're going for in the documentary.
If you're looking for a mostly formal tone that is comprised of blunt facts, stick with the technicality and reasons behind the agreement.
If you're going for something more dramatic, go along the lines of what the Agreement is attempting to prevent and the disastrous effects not meeting our goal could cause. Also, perhaps the way the Agreement is trying to prevent global disaster-- and perhaps the reluctance of some nations in signing the Agreement.
