As the title suggests I need advice. I want to become approachable as some would say I am an unapproachable person and I'm wondering what people think makes someone approachable. So guys to you what makes someone approachable?

You can't always be perfect and approachable all the time, If you mean in social situations/meeting new people, i'd recommend going to a few activity/groups in your area.

It'll help you get to know people and also give you a common point of interest to work with.

If you mean in terms of having people you know/friends come to you for advice, normally you'd just offer an ear and be sure to check up and take an interest in their life.

People aren't always going to approach you, so it's better to make an effort and do it yourself, if you join regular meeting groups it'd be a good start.

Appearance can play in a part sometimes, also past reputation. Maybe you can do some small deeds for people around you so other people can realize you are a helpful person. And pretty much everything >>2 said
