Earlier, in the car, my parents and my older sister were having an arguement, and it goT really extreme. My parents' statements were really hypocritical and my older sister snapped. She's been enduring their shit for years,but everytime they push her breading point, they never listen. It seems like they care too much for their egos more than theit children's well being. I know they just want the bestimate for us, but I can't handle their constant fights with my older sister. I wanna tell them how I feel about all this, but they're gonna blame my sister anyway. Their actions were the cause of my scars from self cutting. I just want them to listen to us just for once instead of letting their parent pridea get the best of them.

That sounds intense. no one got physically hurt did they?

Is it possible to sit down and have a one-on-one conversation with them? I think that telling them directly what you are feeling may help both parties to understand each other.

It's probably because they know some things from their own experiences and don't want their kids to repeat the same mistakes. It sounds pretty normal to me, since I'm guessing your older sister is starting to become an adult. They try to do what they think is best for their kids too, but nobody is perfect and they end up shouting.

I don't think they hate you, otherwise they wouldn't pay any attention to you, or your sister. They also don't seem to constantly belittle you either, or wish you weren't there. So I think it is their flaws of trying to guide you and your sister through life.

I moved out and won't move back, since I can't stand my dad day in and day out. I am my own person and he still wants to guide me through life his way. He also likes to argue too.

I had a worse experience as a kid, since I always went to hide when my dad came home. I dreaded seeing him, since I got beat a lot.
