It has taken a lot of time for me to have the guts to write this.

I think I might need the Dollars help.

I used to be part of a church in the U.S. what changed is that I became depressed. So I did what any religious person would do. Talk to their pastor. I did share to the pastor that I had suicidal thoughts. They are not uncommon on people but I thought that if I would share such a thing with anyone that it should be with him, right?

Obviously as you might have come to realize it did not end well.

I was told that I was not man enough and that the only reason I felt the way I did was to manipulate people.

Also Obviously things got worse after that.

The thing is that same pastor has this odd thing in social media where he just seems to comment "positive messages" with the cute girls that go to his church.

Also this is not mentioning that when my exgirlfriend went to talk to him about the fact that she found out that I felt such a way. He straight up told her to file a restriction order against me. While the judge didnt find me a threat, where I live the girl only must say that she thinks there is a danger to her.

The pastor told her that I was dangerous because of depression and suicidal thoughts.

It seems that this pastor is using his influence to appeal to the cute women in his ministry and nothing more.

I want to get this church shut down but I don't even know how to start. Pretty much it seems that I just have to move on. But if I just move on the danger is that it will happen to more people.

Can the Dollars help me?

I would suggest asking a counselor, they're really good at what they do and could probably help you out...

I struggle with thoughts of suicide from time to time aswell and i do recommend that you talk to a counselor. a counselor will be able to understand what you are going through better than a pastor would. hope this helped out some. just know that there are always people there to help you and be there for you even if it doesnt seem like that.

A pastor is just a random dude often wearing weird clothes preaching out of an ancient book. They have as much to say about this as your neighbor Craig. For any matters that aren't related to an ancient book, find a specialist in that area. You go to a chef for cooking advice, you go to a psychiatrist for psychiatry.

You can always wait it out, let the pastor get caught doing something illegal with a minor girl, and then get arrested and sent to jail for some time, it's not uncommon among churches. But with your thoughts you might not be able to wait that long, that said, eventually everyone gets caught, at least the Bible got that right "no one is good" not even pastors

If you want your church shut down, and let down the many people who that was their only refuge from their crappy lives, then make a petition on change.org or something, or do nothing, none of it will matter in 50 years

But yeah, be sure to add the part in the petition where you say "I'm suicidal and I think my pastor hates me and goes after young cute girls" they'll love that

What an interesting situation, isn't it? You must have lost your belief in religion now? Maybe even your belief in the human race?
Do not worry, it is all up to you what you make out of this situation. You could spread bad rumors or start petitions, but will this really help? It will take a long time until somebody believes these rumors. You have to act rapidly. You have no time. He is the bad person in your case. You need to stop him immediately.

You need to convince a young attractive girl to start an affair with him. Give her money so that she really will do it. Take some pics of them or even a video and post it in the internet. youtube, facebook, everywhere.
She also must spread some bad rumors that he wanted to rape her. His church will definitely fall after that.

I have to say that there is something wrong with your pastor. I have a friend who had similar problem like you, though she's not suicidal but she WAS depressed, I accompanied her to meet the pastor much like you did, they talked and I was silent just listening and watching, and the pastor did help. He asked her to join some church activities and just hang out with friends, told her to keep strong and believe that everything will be just fine. He then asked me to watch over her. The church activities did help, she bonded with me and our friends even more and she felt even closer to God. At first I was her only best friend, but now she is close with everyone else too.

If you want to shut the church down you should gather information first. If he is as rotten as I thought he is then there must be someone else who suffered like you, who knows his rotten side. Make a petition, gather the mass, look for solid evidence. If he is evil he WILL fall at the end.
Don't lose hope my friend, God will protect you.

Why not just seceding from this Church? Look for another community if your pastor is a faggot.
Why worrying about your ex-girlfriend? I mean: She's you EX. No need to worry when it's over anyway.

Don't you think that he possibly wants you to react the way you do?
He wants to be in hold of control for he is occupying a position of trust.
Humans are - to a certain degree - all assholes, when they reach a position high enough to look down on others. Why should your pastor be different? He is human after all.
If you show no interest and turn your back on him, he will stop, for there is no use in spreading bad rumours when they are effectless.
Ignore him. You don't need stupid pastors, you have the Dollars.
Like some others already said: If he actually should be a "bad person", god or fate will punish him sooner or later.
It's not your problem at the moment. You should take care of your depressions first. That's the more important part.

I have been better. Been to a counselor and even moved away. Though even with that they have been spreading rumors that I threatened to kill her and her family. That's how I am being discredited and targeted.

While I've been getting better because of pure will and counseling they are not going to stop.

i say dollars in the area tag team the guy and teach him a few lessons on how we handle things, cause he personally sounds like a creep with those "possitive messages"

I do not know how or how many Dollars are willing to help. If someone is willing maybe either spreading the truth so the church and the pastor are discredited.

I am coming to the Dollars because I can't do anything and I cannot go to anyone else. I was not smart enough to outsmart them so they couldn't hurt me. They won. I can't even go to the university I was going to, to finish my degree as I am afraid what would happen if I am even in the city, if they ever figure I am in the area.

This church flipped my life upside down and they just got away with it. The pastor and his manipulative ways. Using my ex, telling her that my depression means that I will hurt her. Telling everyone that I made death threats, which was not true. I barely had any motivation to get out of my own room.

Yet I lost the life I build for myself because of this pastor.

I think this just reinforces that old lesson: Absolute Power = Absolute Corruption. The more leeway and freedom you give a person, the more they will use that to remove someone else's freedom. Its envy, pure and simple.

This is just my personal opinion, but why should you worry about them? You went to them for help, they didn't help you. You moved away from them, they still attacked you. But why worry about it? If you are feeling better now, even slightly, then you needn't worry. Start all over again. New friends, new girlfriend, new community. I'm sure there is Dollars members out there that live in your area, I am a little too far away.

But to any Dollars members that are in your area, why not organise a IRL meeting? You might find some new best friends. And they will be able to help you from there on out.

My point is, you don't need to worry about the past. Everyone here has heard your story, and everyone here understands. We are all willing to help you, so you don't need to worry about them. Live your life as you wish to live it, and don't be scared to do something because of the past.
