I have a really good friend in our friend circle (We're both girls, she's pan and I'm bi) and we pretended to date and stuff because we wanted to see how people reacted to it but after a few months (like about 2 or 3) I started to have feelings for her so I confessed and all she said was "Oh okay" but everything went normally after that and then one day she texted me "What is our relationship?" So I replied that we were friends and she said okay. After a few minutes she put on her Instagram story "My whole life was a lie" and I asked her about it but she said that it wasn't about my answer and so I just let it go cause I thought that it was her own family problems but after that she started ignoring me in the groupchats we're in and then I confronted her about it but she left me on read. I know the whole thing sounds childish, but I really need to know how to at least become friends with her again before school starts (which is in a few weeks) because I don't want any thing to become awkward whenever the group decides to hang out together.

Why don't you just tell her that you feel more for her and that you just said you were only friends because you were afraid? It's often the best way to be honest.
