How to find meaning in life? (6)

Hey everyone it's nice to meet you! I'm usually a pretty closed off person but when I found the Dollar I decided to give making friends and getting advice because there's no way people around me would really be able to help.
I'm 19 yr old female, the second oldest of five siblings. I always told myself I'd never settle and want an adventure in life. So I decided to enroll in a military college to become a government agent when I graduate. The older I get I started noticing this when I was 14 life feels so mundane and useless. I'm going through all the motions but cannot find actual interest and excitement in anything I do anymore. I just don't want to go through life with this horrible feeling of nothingness. I want to wake up and enjoy life and feel like there is a reason to everything. Have any of you ever felt like this before? Everything seems so boring and useless now. I want to find something more but don't know how to go about it. All advice would be highly appreciated c:

The problem with this is that the solution varies with each person. Some people find their reason to go through life easier than others. I know the feeling of how you feel up until recently i would find a reason to go on each day until I kind of just gave up. I couldn't even smile. But I saw a couple of movies and shows that made me realize that I wasnt the only one feeling like this. We all grow up looking for our reason to live. Sometimes we just need to find something that makes us feel light inside and follow it. Wake up each morning knowing its a new day and do whatever you can to make each day different. Start going out with friends more, go to new places, try out new things. Eventually you'll find that one thing that will make your whole life flip and you'll realize you finally found what you have been looking for. I still havent found mine but i live doing what makes me happy and thats good enough for me. I have faith that something good awaits me but i have to look for it. Just don't ever rush things. All things take time. You are still young and have lots of time.

I very much appreciate that you took the time to write a long reply so thank you for that. I really needed to hear something like this right now and it makes me feel a bit better that there is someone out there that feels the same and is trying very hard to turn things around. I'm usually used to keeping everything inside so thank you very much for not only taking the time but also sharing your experiences and thoughts :)

No worries, I get on here as often as possible and try to help anyone I can. It makes me happy to see the people I talk to go thorough life easier. Im not old but I have had my share of life experiences so I use my knowledge to help others. But I do feel old.

It's nice to actually see a person who wants to help people. These days all I see are people too consumed with their self. I'm glad I made this account and met someone like you it's definitely the first time in a lifetime c:
