when problems come, dont be the person that runs, be the person that has nothing to run from, life happens just be smart enough to not let it get to you.

When you think problems are easy to deal with and that smarts can let it not get to you, probably means you never had them.

You either worded it very very poorly, or you never had serious problems. Not all problems can be brushed off, most of the serious ones can't.

I was abused half of my life and it took years to get fully over it. How could I not run away from the problems when they were caused by an adult I lived with, who should have supported me. I was a kid, how could it not have gotten to me?

I don't think this belongs in personal, as this is just random to me.
