Hey so i dont know if this belongs here or not anyway
i was checking out next year's program and i stumbled across this and it confused me
anyway what is the difference between a normal interval and this?
the sign were different so idkim sorry if that looks stupid but i'd like to understand

I googled it and the semicolon means the same thing as a colon, it just isn't used as widely.

: usually stands for such that. It is used a lot in sets, spaces, or in probability.
