Guys i am really worried about my future. I have no idea what i want to do and i have no idea how to find the right colleges. If anyone knows any sites where i can casually discuss colleges with people please share. I really need scholarships because otherwise I'm gonna be stuck in my shit country amd that's the one thing i don'twant. Because i am so lost, a friend recommeneded i try out liberal arts. That intrigued me but now I'm reading about it and a lot of people say it's useless. Thanks to anyone who helps, i appreciate your advice. :)

Liberal arts is not a very rewarding degree. Maybe it is good to have a degree in Liberal arts for law school? I'd say Engineering might be one of the most. Computer science might be as well.

You don't have to get a 4 year degree either, you could just get a certificate. Electricians and plumbers make decent money. All you would need is a certificate for those jobs too.

>>2 Not only liberal arts, the economy in general isn't doing so well. Like what my lecturer would say, once you're out of uni everyone will be competing on equal grounds- everyone will have a degree. Getting a degree isn't as important as it used to be in the past. In the past it's a social status, people use it for bragging rights. Now, not so much. Rather it feels mandatory to have one for a job (nothing wrong btw). Just that the way I see it it's nothing more than pieces of paper.

Employers don't look out for people who get straight As in unis.

"What we're looking out for are people with passion, people who are innovative, who are creative thinkers who can think even when there's no box around. You got straight As in uni? That's great, but if u don't meet the trait requirements it'll be harder for us to hire u.

If u don't have passion, hobby, or interest in something, I would suggest going for a business degree. It's general, but it can be used as a foundation if u plan to switch career. Depending on your country, engineers can be in demand too.

Hope this helps~
Just out of curiosity, which country are u in?

>>4 people like you are a disgrace to this website, you should do us all a big favor and not come back, no one here actually cares about you, or what you say "c'est la vie"

As for >>1 well our friendly search engine "Google" could have helped you with this, or maybe a real life friend, if you are to have any, I suggest you look for affordable colleges and a much more obtainable career
