I messed up (4)

Hi guys so this basically goes along with the title ........ Im gonna tell a brief story and im gonna need your sincere opinion so here i go ......

Im 21 yrs old and i live with mine parents . During highschool i was a really good student as far as acadecmics go and i during my junior year and senior year i did long distance running. Suddenly during Senior i made the wrong turn and i got into smoking cannibis and cigs( even to get the cash for this i would go as far as steal money from parents and i lied to them as to whether i was doing it). It was really fun while it lasted (in terms of my naive highschool self) and then after highschool everythings takes a spiral turn for the worst......

Turning to present day i went to attend a 2 yrs college and barely past the first semester and now i have been academcially banned from the school for one semester. The huge conflict with this is that now i have a .75 gpa . I also got into alchol due to amount of stress of this problem.

I know this seem like a lot (especially for me ) but i feel very depressed and if i go back to school it will take me forever to finish. I feel like my life is going now where and my parent relationship with them is small. I dont know what to really do and i havent been on this site for years.
This is too much for me to handle and in highschool i feel guilty for what i did and now i want to change for the better so if u do have any idea on what i can do please send a comment down below and if the dollars chat works pls go to the chatroom title i messed up if u truly want to give more adivice on what to do . Pls i truly need this ....

It sounds like youre going pretty rough... Try to distance yourself from the alcohol and smoking, it will help you feel better and get back on track. Starting to drink will probably just make things much worse so I'd recommend cutting that one first (though im not an expert). Don't leave this and let it brow because there's no way it will sort itself out. You will have to do something about it yourself. Each week, increase the amount of time you study by a small amount, and it will start to add up.

Maybe you could try running again?

I hope this helps

Don't worry about being at college for a while, the working world is basically the same thing but longer! :P definitely finish your course if you can. If you have to study for something act like you had to teach the subject, make a PowerPoint and teach an imaginary class ever so often - study's show that people who do that can learn 90% more-

You are only 21 so you have PLEANTY of time to change and make things right, start by taking care of yourself (check out the book 'what to say when you talk to your self), if you are having a hard time getting of he drink try AA (if you have that in your country) it really helped an aunt of mine and they are really supportive people.

If you use Reddit you can find groups and advice as well.

Don't worry about changing your whole life in a short time, make little changes and eventually it will all come together
