Why do you ask? What have you been feeling that makes you think you might be in love(since I'm assuming that's the purpose behind your question)?

well >>2, if I like someone a lot more then I like everyone else, does that mean that I love that person?

I went through a similar feeling this year, and it feels like it could be love, but it all depends on your perspective of love. Let me ask you this. What would you do for this person? How much would you sacrifice for their happiness? Do they feel anything towards you (this is an important one, because if they don't even know you exist it could be thought of as more a huge crush than love)?

Love isnt real.. its just nature trying to get you to breed

>>6 But is that really the case? There are more kinds of love than breeding. There is parent to child love, child to parent love. Sibling to sibling, friend to friend. Those aren't just instinct making you want to breed. And while attraction comes from breeding instinct, there is still a real relationship between couples that can only be described as love most of the time. It's not the need of procreation that makes people love each other, it's their experiences together, the enjoyment of similar activities. There are five major factors of attraction in psychology, and physical attractiveness is only one of those. Just a thought.

Just to give my two cents. When I was in high school I thought I was in love with a girl but really I was attracted (what I would call smitten). Sure I really liked her, wanted to spend all the time I could with her and thought about her a lot and in a sense loved her but I was not 'in love'. People throw the word love around too quickly, but real love is built up over time nearly without you noticing it getting deeper in the background, then you are able to see someone warts and all and still love them, then that is real love.

I think a good test is to ask yourself if you think the person is perfect, if you do you are infatuated (which is good and fine) but if you don't and know their faults see the blemishes and still 'love' them then yeah it's probably love.

That's what I think (assuming you are asking about romantic love). Hope it helps!
