My problem is small, yes. Perhaps something can be said or concluded about it, although I know probably not, but thanks. Let's see... My entire free time has always been spent home, and the few people I talk frequently are online. Recently, I got in an environment where I see lots of people daily, and met many already, so the obvious is just screaming now.

Thing is, my conversations are always shallow and short. I only talk to other people for basic information exchange, to help or be helped, and 2 minute stuff. I probably just don't know how to keep a conversation, and care enough to.

Anyhow, I managed to befriend some groups in fact, and there comes the real problem, which is somewhat explained by what I was once told, "You will end up alone". Now, no matter why it was said, it's actually becoming my situation or has always been.Whenever there's some conflict my natural answer is running away, cutting off the contact, in a little aggressive way. I shut off no matter the consequences, with short term mates, family, and even my biggest and dearest friend.

I wonder if it's because of my lack of social experience or my personality, maybe both and something else I'm not noticing. Yes, I know I should try fixing things when this happens, and I do, after running away and shattering the bonds. Sometimes it helps and sometimes I can't return, because of them and my natural isolation tendency. Sorry if it's off, or too big. And I'm sorry if this can't be answered.

I have had a similar problem throughout my life. When anything hard comes along, I find myself shutting down, and blocking people out. The only real answer I've found is to keep putting yourself in hard situations, and work on it. It takes time, but I've seen progress in my life, and I bet you can too if you try .
