Societal Rebellion (6)

So this is a growing concept and I just wanted to see if I could talk about it with someone?
So, long story short, I feel like we shouldn't have to live like this. We, as a society work so hard to simply survive. (9 to 5 job just to stay alive) I feel like we shouldn't have to waste so much of our very short life working for nothing. Not to mention we all end up 6 feet under anyway.
Can anyone relate?

I agree with your concept. People work so hard to survive and some even overwork themselves to their deaths. It's quite unfair how some people can live a life comfortably without doing much or having to worry at all. What else else do you believe?

Yeah, I've never understood it either. I actually am someone who's moved out with friends and only have to work 3 days a week. This is a job anyone can get and I always have plenty of money extra so I can even save a little. I mean if I wanted to travel or something I can always work more but Idon't understand why people need so much money.
People often end up choosing money or things over time, I guess.

But to be fair, it's not really clear what we're meant to be doing with our lives, so even if it seems dumb there's not really many other better options, you could say.

I feel like I'm in the minority. All of my friends are telling me all the time that D.J.T is a racist but I don't believe it. I want to believe it just so I can be like them, but I met the guy and he was nice to my whole friend group even tough I'm Jewish, my best friend is too, and the rest of our friend group is African American or Asian. He bought us sodas and was a complete gentleman. I want to be part of the majority so I can get a GF and so I can move up in life but, everyone even if they don't support HC, thinks I'm a horrible person for not hating him.Even more recently I saw on the news an old man got shot because he was wearing a DJT support cap. I fear for my life now. I just want to fit in with everyone else.

Being along is a scary idea, and we've all wrestled with similar situations. But compromising on your own beliefs for the sake of your current friend group is NEVER worth it. Trust me, friends come and go, but you always need to be happy with who you are. If your friends are not willing to separate their political and personal feelings, and compromise their friendship with you, then they lack maturity. Fitting in is overrated, and you'll never be able to please everybody, so you may as well please yourself with strong conviction and character if you think it's worth it.
