This is boring. I've been reading through all the threads for months and there's been nothing really interesting.... I'm dying out here. And all of the ones I thought were interesting died or got taken down. I'm just bored of all of this, can't something interesting happen for once?

Well, that could be good in a sense. I mean, perhaps that means less problems occurring. As for your boredom, maybe you could do something better. Go outside, talk to friends, or play videos games for instance.

Sadly, we live in a real world without stories. What often looks interesting often turns out not to be, and there's very little in it that isn't bland and ugly.

You've identified the problem of boredom. Maybe it's time to move on. I agree with Sadir, perhaps doing something new as opposed to stating boredom is for the best. Cliché line incoming, be the change you want to see.

Mmmm... I respectfully disagree with the responses above. I am of the opinion that if you don't like something, you ought to change it to become to your liking. The lazily complacent school of thought that endorses mindsets such as, "if you don't like it here, then move," has always left a sour taste in my mouth. I do agree with Viral saying, "be the change you want to see." Perhaps, instead of being an observer you could become more of a contributor? If you can't find what you're looking for here (in this case, fun), you should create it within the parameters of the site then :-)
