I dont know what to do... (3)

Last night, I had a fight(?) with a friend. It wasn't really aggressive, but more of an emotional meltdown on both parts, and worst of all it's online.
I really don't know what to do. I don't want to talk to them for a while, and I don't want to talk with our circle of internet friends for a while.
I don't want to hurt myself anymore. It's the first time I've done it last night in the heat of the moment and I immediately regret it. I don't want anyone else to see it.
I feel so ashamed, that I can't tell them what I'm upset about, because they're going through hard times too, I don't want to add weight. I don't know what /they'll/ do.
I feel like I shouldn't distance myself but at this point I feel like anything I'll say or do will end in consequence.
I really love this friend, and I care about them
But I just don't know what to do at this point.

I'm sorry to hear that, I hope you feel better soon. You should let your friend know about how you feel. You really care about them and love them so let them know. People need to be reminded how much they mean to someone every once and awhile.
I advise that you should be there for your friend through their difficult times and reassuring them before telling them what's on your mind therefore you don't add more weight which you fear of doing. It's a good idea not to distance yourself because it could possibly end the friendship but if you're worried about what you'll say or do, be cautious and think about what many happen before doing so.
I wish you good luck and I hope everything will return back to good terms! I hope that I and the other Dollars will be able to give you advice to help you!

>>2 Thank you so much for your reply. It means a lot to me.
As of the moment they're going through a difficult time and are insisting they drown themselves in guilt for a moment, so I'm not sure if I can get closure with them avoiding it for a moment... When the situation gets lighter, I suppose I'll give it a shot. Thank you again!!! This was really helpful.
