my favorite aunt has decided that everything i tell her is filled with lies and i tried to explain that i am telling her the truth. i have built my life around protecting the people i love and doing my best to bring them happiness and i seem to fail at that at every turn. that being said i have concluded that the only way for me to fix this problem would be to use a polygraph test. i was wondering if some one knew how to get one set up. i have grown weary and i feel like with all my good intentions i am useless. i feel what i was told was right that i am worthless i know many will say its not true but if i can't solve this and can only bring misery to those i love i will be cheaking out. i have bet everything on this.

Does she think that everything you do is bad? I mean, my mother's kinda like your aunt.. I asked her if I can join the school event, she said," Wait. I'm going to call the school."

It stresses me out sometimes too T^T. I think that doing a polygraph test is a good thing, but it's hard. Realy hard. Are you sure that you did everything you could, but then got no choice but to set one polygraph test?

My best friend (up till now), is kinda like you. overprotective, and scaring all my other friends away. Even the one that turned out to be mean. I feel grateful to him, But I also feel like his overprotectiveness is preventing me from making friends :')

All I'm trying to say is, look through your aunt's eyes. What do she see in front of her? A lying person? Or a I-Want-To-Protect-Others person :') *Okay sorry my vocab's bad :'). Maybe you can hear out her opinion of you going out to help others. Probably she's just scared that something will happen to you, and she might not be able to save you in time.

Try looking at your interactions with your aunt objectively. Is it possible that you have accidentally mixed up details of a situation, or just didn't think other details were important?

Your desire to protect everyone might be blinding you from how you convey your intentions to others.
