Hey guys. Lately, I've been thinking about something. It's the decision about whether to have kids or not. I know that I'm only 22 and have a lot of time to think about it, but my friend is about to have a kid and I realized that I just don't want kids. Tbh, I love the freedom I have and I feel that having kids would just take away so much. And also that I wouldn't be a good parent. I'm not saying having kids is wrong, and it's a great decision but only if you want them and have the means to support them. For me, I just don't want them and I feel that society and people will pressure me and look down on me because of it. Maybe it's because I'm young, but I just don't want kids. What do you guys think?

You should wait. You're still young, I mean you are barely old enough to drink. You might change your mind in the future. You'll know when you're ready or not.

Well, as a personal opinion, it's fine not to have kids. I agree that kids take away so much but in a sense they also give you a fulfilment of sorts. I think you should wait until you're older and see how. Most people choose to focus on careers nowadays then having a family and it's up to you anyways. In the meantime, dont stress about it!

I'm only 20 yo, but I'm 100% sure I won't have kids. Not only because I love freedom, but also because I will either become disabled or even die if I give birth. It's totally okay not to want kids, don't worry.

You're still young however I do understand your concern. I think it's completely normal to not have kids, I also think it's very smart of you to question whether or not you can take care of them rather than rushing to have them like most people do. They're not a necessity and I also agree that people kinda make it seem like you HAVE to have kids.
