Okay! So at school this is TRUE! My friend (not gonna tell you her name)other friend didn't reply on Google+ for a YEAR until then when he finally replied on a year later, his mom said that he got killed at a party by a gun shot! My friend is really depressed so can you all tell in the comments that everything will be fine?

I hate to tell you thins but simply saying everything will be fine won't do it in a situation like this. Try to be there for your friend, if possible in person, and take walks with him/her, watch movies, do stuff together that she likes (or used to like) that sont harm her and let your friend talk about what happened and lend a shoulder to cry on as well as a friendly ear to listen. Let her know that you are always there to talk if she needs someone to talk to. Show her that she means a lot to you. Emotional support in such a situation is extremely important. If possible check if your friend is hurting herself in any way and/or selfmedicates (let it be alcohol or any other drug, people often resort to stuff like that). If so talk about it with her and depending on her age with her parents if they are good people. I wish you, your friend and everyone else involved a lot of strengh and I hope she'll be able to cope with it in a good way.
