Since I will need a haircut veru soon, I thought it would be a good idea to ask here for some ideas.
If it helps you, here are some things about me:
I am a boy, have dark brown, wavy hair, glasses and a nearly rectangular face.
I myself only found this picture but since it is drawn, do you think a haircut like this would work?

First things first: you're going to want to show the picture of a real person to your hairstylist, because it will greatly increase the chances of you getting what you asked for.
Secondly, I think the haircut is good, but I suggest you forgo the long hair on the sides of your head, and at the bottom of your neck. Keep it short on the sides, long at the top. Then I'd suggest maybe having slight sideburns, since you're a boy.
I'm a girl, with pixie hair, and I had a lot of trouble getting the haircut I wanted. But the picture helped a lot the second time around: I got exactly what I asked for.
The reason why I suggest you leave your hair short on the side of your head, is because I once knew someone with a VERY square head who had the hairstyle in your picture, and well, it didn't look very nice on him like that.
Now it's just a suggestion, and I don't know what you look like, so feel free to overlook this comment 😅 Then I suggested slight sideburns because, I dunno, I thought it might look cool. But again, I'm a girl, blah blah blah and I personally don't know all that much about hair.
I could try posting pictures of what I have in mind, I guess, so to be more clear.

I think it would work, I myself have a similar hairstyle just more long I would recommend going to a good hairstylist tho to get it perfect
