Someone is sending me hateful messages but I do not want the cops to get involved because I believe that no one should have to deal with cops because of messages.
But I do want them to stop and be dealt quietly. Are there any dollars who can help me and maybe scare this person away. Maybe pretend that the Dollars are real. Tell this person to leave me alone or else.

1. Are you a minor?
2. Have they threatened you?
3. Do you know the individual?
4. Do you think they are likely to escalate?
If the messages are physical, keep them as proof in case of escalation. If they are electronic, use the filter option to redirect them to a folder for safekeeping (again, in case of escalation).
If this is a case of bullying, take photos or videos if possible and consider speaking to a person of authority (if safe to do so). It is ideal to acquire support from a third person near you and keep them informed.

If this is still going on, I suggest going to police. I don't think someone should suffer being harassed so the harasser doesn't get caught by the authority. Plus if the person is continuing to do it, they're most likely doing it on purpose. I'm not sure about scaring them away though. Do you have any information like a phone number or email?
