Hello! I'm Luan, a fourteen years old girl who lives in Montreal,Quebec. I really like playing basketball, It's my favorite sport.
Recently, I have been thinking about joining a basketball team for Girls. I want something new in my life and I thought that maybe playing Basketball will change things a little!
I want some help with finding a team no too far away from where I am.

Now the most important thing is that I'm a veiled girl (I wear the hijab) and I want a team that has a good uniform for me. I can't wear a short sleeve shirt and a short :/
But if they allow me to wear something under their uniform then it's all good! :) I'm so sorry for making things difficult, I just want some help to find a team.

hello luan! i am from montreal as well!
unfortunately, i dont know any teams, as i dont play any sports. when i was little, however i joined the DELTA team (though they are in laval...)
although, i'm almost certain that every sports team will allow you to dress appropriately to your religion! for example, if you wore a long sleeve shirt underneath the jersey? i do not think the pants matter as much, ive got a photo of me on my wall with mismatched soccer shorts from when i was younger..
worst case scenario, you can always call them and ask them! or, even better ( of course, i dont know your age so im just guessing here..) maybe go with your parents to the sign ups and ask them there! although as i said i doubt they'll refuse you for that ... ( you ARE paying them to play! )

Hello Luan, I am from Europe and not much into Basketball, but I can recommend to get the number of the trainer and call him or write an e-mail. Ask them if such conditions are at their team accepted or where they are accepted.
