Hello wonderful people!

I'll just get straight to my point.

Does anyone else feel fed up with christmas?
The same songs every year, the same stress with presents every year, the forced smiles, the celebration in itself, being stuck hanging out with family in the hollidays the food even,... I'm 21 and allready I'm just sick of it.

Tell me how you feel, and if I'm just being edgy teenager.

I think its pretty stupid too, but I am also an edgy teenager.

You're not alone. I am not an edgy teenager, and I can assure you, even though I would never say it out loud, I hate Christmas. All the unwanted people I have to talk to and pretend to be happy I see them. I mean I am but just not as much as they expect me to. And the mess of presents isn't much helping.

Ya... I most hate the fake smiles and the food! Every year the same food and people. I think it's boring as hell but I'm also just a teenager (who can't write very well in English lol)

Well good thing I'm not alone there

I think the lights can look beautiful as well as the snow but I can't stand the fact that everyone all of a sudden acts so friendly that you have the urge to puke because it's so fake and you aren't allowed to criticize or be against something because you'd destroy the fake atmosphere of a perfect, calm and good world with only caring people who help those in need and perfect families in it who live a perfect life. Around Christmas everyone is nice, buys presents, supports charity/organization for a good cause, remembers to call old friends because that’s what you do to appear good in front of others but once new year’s is over everyone is back to being shitty until December starts again.

Yeah the hypacrisy is the worst part.
