I'm looking for some ways I could possibly gather some information about my crush/ someone else's crush. I know the basic methods of stalking them on social media, etc but I wanted to know if there are more ways to gather info. For example, I heard somewhere that you can gather a lot of information about someone through the way they type, etc. So if any of you guys know ways to stalk your crush on social media or real life, advice/tips on stalking, experience, etc please tell me :) THANKS HAVE A LOVELY DAY
Most of the ways that you probably mean like analyzing speech patterns or written text are not very reliable and require A LOT of practice and knowledge about the matter. Talking to the person is probably the best idea, even tho people tend to be dishonest. Tbh stalking someone isn't easy. You could give the person something like a keychain with a GPS tracker or something (lol), or just follow them around and write it down while trying to be inconspicuous. Even better if you don't have to worry about being inconspicuous, for example if you two (or more people if you don't want the person's attention focused on you) go somewhere in your free time. Then there are the obvious things like following them and/or adding them as a friend on all the social media they use. Mostly, stalking is way easier if the person is at least your friend. You should also have some excuses ready if they catch you. And try to write down everything you can about them in a nice organized timetable, it really helps figure out their patterns and that makes future stalking easier. You should also get to know their friends, they can probably give you a good idea of the person's hobbies, personality etc. If they realize you are in love with the person, bonus points because you won't have to make excuses anymore and they might even feel like helping. Well, unless you have a really bad reputation or the person already has a boyfriend/girlfriend. Thats about all i can think of right now.

First off: stalking whether physical or cyber is not ok. Don't do it. Second: learning information will never provide you any kind of meaningful connection with this person. Information about a person is meaningful when gathered through a relationship. What matters is connection and exchange not the knowledge as such. Learning facts you already know through conversation will teach you more (in the truest sense) than analyzing speech patterns ever could.
Stalking is not a good way, unless you're trying to deter them from liking you. I suggest trying to read body language. People (especially females) will behave differently according to who they're with.
Thanks guys! I realize that stalking people sounds extremely creepy lol, and that I should rephrase my question. I'm more interested in how to decipher body language than actual stalking. I guess a better way to state this is: what are some common actions/habits that people do, and what do they imply? And also, is it possible to get to know someone better in other ways besides talking? Thanks again!
